In our awareness of the milieu we are now in and that which we still keep in touch with, we also acknowledge a destiny, a Formator, the Creator, or Our God behind it. How we live with it depends on the persuasions and our experiences of such chosen faith, belief, or conviction a constant challenge to each and everyone of us. To be in the right perspective, we have to look at the nature of things here and there as ‘citizens of the world’ also, not just as Filipino Americans and friends based here in America.

Humanity ruled by social justice precepts is rightfully and righteously our prime common concern. It is what binds us increasingly closer together. It is impartial. Any persuasion or cause that is without it turns partial and divisive. And this is what bothers us all the more about the governance of the Philippines by the people who have no genuine sense of humanity and social justice. Why the root causes of social deprivation and injustices have never been addressed by their kind. The US government's continuous tolerance of fascism in our motherland is frustrating.

We, founding members and associates of Interfaith Action for Social Justice, find home and inspiration in people and groups who breathe life and hope to the continuing struggle for genuine social justice reforms here and everywhere in the world but with focus on our nativeland Philippines. We can’t help it that we are in it together.
